Port de Grave Pentecostal Tabernacle Cemetery Policy
1. Plot Size
- A Two Grave Plot shall be 8ft. by 8 ft.
- A Three Grave Plot shall be 12 ft. by 8 ft.
2. Since all grave sites will be awarded as per the next available site, no marking of plots will occur.
3.There will be no "NEW" fences, concrete, or wood forms erected in the cemetery at any time.
4. The base of a headstone shall be a poured concrete form, firm base and shall be any or all the width of the grave plot. The width of the base shall not exceed 16 inches and shall not project above the ground more then 4 inches
5. The base for the foot stone shall be the size of the stone and the stone shall be level with the ground.
6. The planting of flowers and shrubs is not permitted on or around the graves. In the cases where plants, flowers and shrubs already exists, adequate attention is required to keep their growth under control.
7. All excess rubbish must be removed from the grave sites within 7 days after the funeral except Sundays, weather permitting. Some leniency will be granted during severe weather conditions.
8. Any use of the cemetery will occur only under the direction of the Cemetery committee or designate.
9. Dumping of debris on any parcel of land adjacent to the cemetery is strictly forbidden.
10. When the present forms become deteriorated they cannot be replaced or repaired they must be removed.
11. An annual fee of $20.00 will be charged to each Pentecostal Family every year for the upkeep of the cemetery.
12. No work is to be done in the cemetery without the approval of the Pastor or Cemetery Committee.
13. Flowers are to be kept to a minimum and are to be placed on the headstone or header so not to prevent mowing and proper care of cemetery.
14. We are not responsible for any damage done to flowers, ornaments or solar lights.
15. If at all possible there will be a Memorial Service in both Cemeteries each summer and familiies will be notified of the same.
